The First Men

The First Men is an old-school RPG that is being built from the ground up to support future movement to MMORPG scale.

It is based upon the Prehistory eras (Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic and some Chalcolithic) and the conflicts between Homo Sapiens and Homo Neanderthalensis

Unnamed BBS mystery

The Unnamed BBS Mystery is a text-based adventure where you discover the secrets hidden in an old desktop computer.

It currently has a few puzzles and cryptograms to solve, each revealing more of the previous owner’s past

When will (insert game here) be released?

Currently I am working on my projects alone in my spare time. Timelines will appear on the pages for the specific projects when and where I get closer to a final product. You can always subscribe to get updates and access to the development board.

Who is behind Itasu?

Hi, my “name” is b0b. I am a cloud engineer with a long-standing passion for game development and writing. I have finally decided to put all the ideas in my head into a complete package to release to the world. I hope you can enjoy my journey with me.

What does Itasu mean?

Itasu is (very) roughly translated to “do”. It’s meaning (to me) is to humbly do or serve, which is my mission statement. I have set myself a task, and I will carry it out.

I’d like to contribute to a game, how can I do that?

Having contributors would make a huge difference to my development speed. Currently I am mostly in the programming phase for the larger project, building the engine to support the various mechanics I need, but I will need assets (sound, models and UI) and I am terrible at that part, blundering my way through Blender and Photoshop. I do have a specific art style I would like to head towards, using absolutely zero textures for the 3D world, instead using a low-poly solid colour for everything. If you feel you want to contribute towards building a world, please let me know via the “Contact me” form.

Can I apply to be a part of the team or work as a contractor?

Itasu is not currently in a position to hire staff. If, after fundraising, this becomes available, details will be given on this site.
